And just like that, after three years away from my bench, my wonderful customers, and this craft that brings me so much joy, I am working on a small batch of jewels, intentionally crafted as if formed beneath the waves, lost by a mermaid and washed ashore to be discovered.

Intuitively using hands, tools and heat to create a texture that mimics the ripples of the ocean and reflects the sunlight in the same way, each with a piece of oceans own treasure at it's centre. Whether it be a freshwater pearl, piece of ocean tumbled sea glass or a fragment of sea shell.
